The Holy Forthorthe Galactic Empire is an intergalactic empire spanning many planets and solar systems. The capitol is the planet Forthorthe. It is over 2000 years old.

The empire is ruled by and emperor/empress that is selected from someone among the 8 royal families of forthorthe, that holds absolute power. The only way an emperor may be striped of their power is if the council of the royal families deems them to have committed a crime. There is also an elected parliament that can propose laws and policies to the emperor.
