Ken'ichi (ケンイチ Ken'ichi) also known as Red Shine is the leader of the Sun Rangers. He is hot-blooded man though at first his enthusiasm was waste time and fruitless effort.
After one year, he had grown to have good judgment and be a good leader. In addition, for the fight against the underground people, he had been struggling alone.
He uses a one-handed sword in his right hand and a gun in his left. He can adapt to the situation and provide backup where it is needed.
Etymology[]
- The name Kenichi is written in katakana (ケンイチ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (健一, 研一, 賢一 or 謙一), it could possibly mean:
- 健一 - "healthy, strong" (健) (ken) and "one" (一) (ichi).
- 研一 - "study, sharpen" (研) (ken) and "one" (一) (ichi).
- 賢一 - "intelligent, wise, wisdom, cleverness" (賢) (ken) and "one" (一) (ichi).
- 謙一 - "humble, modest" (謙) (ken) and "one" (一) (ichi).
